Joe,

You will need the (unique) unlock code.... Provided with radio at time of purchase, or usually available from manufacturer/distributor on proof of purchase - NB some manufacturers will only reveal this code to authorised dealers.

When you get the code (and instructions) put it in a safe place (NOT the vehicle!) - My Audi is just back from the mechanic and he had the battery disconnected - and do you think I can remember where I put the code?
