Terry, every tire has a MAX pressure on it. Are you saying every vehicle owner should ignore the vehicle manufacturer's pressure chart and just run at the tire's MAX pressure all around?

Or are you saying that just Vanagon owners should do this? Why doesn't the owner's manual just say "inflate all tires to the max pressure listed on the tire"?

Good grief man. Most vehicles have recommended pressures that differ front to rear and according to load. Putting on tires that can handle high loads and pressures doesn't necessarily supersede this. The tire MAX is just that, the highest inflation pressure allowed in the tire. It is not any kind of recommendation.
