I had one on my site, but the site is down pending new license agreement. Here's how we do it:

10x12 tarp 3 spring loaded plastic clamps, the ones with the little yellow pads. 2 adjustable poles, 8 ft-9ft, from any camp store 4 14' lengths of guy line 4 big plastic stakes

Clamp 10' edge of tarp to rain gutter in 3 places using clamps set poles in far corners of tarp and adjust poles to a comfortable height drive in stakes 3' from poles, so that the guy lines will continue along the lines made by the edges of the tarp attach guy lines and make taught (use a taught line hitch knot or one of those plastic tensioners).

For better performance in moderate to heavy rain we will often add a 3rd pole in the center of the tarp. Place an old tennis ball with a hole in it over the rod to keep it from punching through the tarp.

Enjoy
