The first culprit I would look at is the Oil Filter!


If you are using anything but a MANN or genuine VW filter the relief
pressure valve is not appropriately set for out Vanagons.
The FRAM and BOSCH brands are NOT adequate oil filter.


Go to one of the list vendors and purchase a set of oil filters
specifically for our Vans.


If you still have buzzer problem you may have other issues with bad
low pressure senders.  How many miles are on this engine? You
possibly could have an aging oil pump or weak engine bearings.


Any other Mechanics on the list want to jump in???


Good luck with the $5 fix of a new oil filter.
