Not really- you just have to wait a certain amount of time before it will allow you to try again with three new chances. If you have never changed the code yourself, I think the default is either 1000 or 1111. If you don't have the radio manual in your glove box this is what you do...

* press and hold the 'left' tuner button, then the right- holding both down until the 'safe' changes to four zeros.

* enter the code with the preset buttons- #1 button for the first digit, press repeatedly to shuffle through the digits until you get the right one (should only need to press it once to get a "1").

* after enteringn all code numbers, press and hold the tuner buttons again until 'safe' flashes again and then you should see and hear the radio come on. You'll have to reset your presets to your favorites...
