Hi Chris,

I can't answer your question about trim colors, but I should warn you that the 1987 sliding door will probably not fit your 1980 Vanagon.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the later Vanagons had sliding doors that were longer (wider) than those of their older siblings. Do check before you buy.
