Hi all -- Someone wrote a week or so ago that the battery and ox light being on might be because of the blue wire on the alternator. This is on an 87, btw. When I replaced my alternator, there wasn't the same connection for the blue wire as was on my old one. What exactly does this wire do, where should it be connected, and does it need the 2.2 microfarad capacitor that was connected to it on the old alternator? Thanks, Tonya 87 GL Wolfs |
