After some lengthy discussions and compromises Frank has expressed a desire to present the Vanagon FAQ in the format offered by Jans web site. At this location http://www.nwlink.com/~vdb/cars.html I'm in favor of it and suggest that each of you that plans to be a contributor to the Vanagon FAQ project visit the site and present your views. The FAQ that is being planned will have content from the Vanagon archives, new Tech and How To's. I've volunteered to do the head in or Index / Default page and set up a site (we need the server space with several mail boxes), I would use Microsoft Front page to develop the page so that we could have a stand alone search engine and a form response. If there are other web designers amongst your ranks I will yield to whomever desires to take a proactive part to get the ball rolling. A cgi guru would be an asset. If you are planning on contributing you'll need to send an E-mail direct to Frank with the subject line "volunteer" and briefly state which area you wish to contribute to. DO NOT send a copy to the list. Thanks for your patience and continued interest in the project. This is not Stan's or Frank's project, its yours. We just happened to get the most excited about it.
