After folks talking about if the List is as good as it used to be, I just wanted to point out something very positive that I have experienced in the very recent past with this list. You all know the story about my secretary (she is doing much better, just had her jaw unwired yesterday!) Jamie Webber. So many of you took the time to tell me you were praying and thinking of her. Many others sent cards and letters. This is a list that is made up of many caring, and thoughtful people. There are two or three that I could name (they are cringing at this very moment because they know who they are) that the noise to actual content ratio of thier posts ranges from 10:1 to 100:1. Don't let these folks spoil the list for you. I have been here for several years. These folks flame everyone and everything and then they run out of things to flame and leave the list. Seen it happen time and time again. My encouragement to the good folks of the list is to not let these bad apples spoil the list for you. My delete key is about worn down at this point but I can still use it. There are many email programs that would actually allow you to block emails from a particular person who only posts static or negative comments and I think that if you get tired of deleting, try this option. Hope you folks have a great Wednesday! Viva la List!!! Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 http://www.vanagain.com Phone: (856)-327-4936 Fax: (856)-327-2242 |
