Not an expert by any means, but here are my comments: >any way here are the numbers. First ones are at cold start. > >temp1= .96V >temp2=.88V >oxygenis jumping around a lot. between -.05V to +.58V O2 sensor reading is normal unless at full throttle - the lambda circuit is constantly adjusting the mixture to keep it in balance. "tweak -->feedback-->overcorrect-->feedback--tweak-->repeat" Normal values are from 0 to .60v as I recall. >AFM ai bouncing between 1.45 and 1.53 >> >warmed up (it is a miracle it stayed running this long) >>temp1= .96V If your Temp1 sensor is reading the same warm as it is cold, I would say that is a potential problem. >temp2= .19v-.23v >oxygen= all over the place -.13V to +.63 >afm= 1.41 to 1.48 AFM seems to be OK, though you would have to run around in different throttle positions to be sure. I would look at the idle control unit located behind the right tail light. There are test procedures you can find in the archives and also in the Bentley (sorry - don't remember them off the top of my head) For more info on using the DigiTool, check out http://www.loam.org/vw/Vanagon/DigiTool/ Brent Christensen '89 GL Syncro Westy Santa Barbara, CA
