I recently purchased a 91 Carrat. The Previous owner had the break pads, and rotors replaced 100 miles before I bought it. I noticed when the breaks were applied there was a serious pulsating in the break pedal. The owner agreed and had the rotors resurfaced/retrued which didn't help solve the problem much, but I loved the vanagon so no big deal... I've since taken the vanagon to a mechanic who said the right front rotor was not true and he resurfaced it and put on OEM pads. The problem was definitely improved, but there is still a noticable pulsating in the break pedal when the breaks are applied... Anybody have any ideas? -Shane 91 Carrat |
