I just had some similar issues and it sounds like you have the same water tank as I do.

Have you been able to make the middle sensor activate a light, e.g. when you attach the green wire to the middle sensor, does the green light come on? If that doesn't work, then you probably have a bad contact at the sensor.

If you can make the yellow light light up by connecting to one of the others, then it's not the wire. If you can't, it is the wire.

It doesn't sound like you have a problem at the LED since the yellow light will light up. Since that's the case, it probably is either the wire or the sensor (which, from what I understand, basically amounts to a bolt in the side of the tank). The wire runs from the side of the tank to a connector behind the LED panel. You can also access the connector from the cabinet to the right of the fridge too, if you take the drawer out.

I think the water tank wiring diagrams are in chapter 97 of the Bentley. I don't have mine handy so I don't know the exact chart.
