After going through the suspension on a Syncro Westy with 234,000 miles I would check and replace the strut rod bushings and all other bushings and ball joints. It is incredible how much wear there can be and the Syncro will seem to drive just fine. This one had alignments done over the years to compensate for wear. After I replaced all the parts in the front end and set the camber it had 3" toe out! That tells you how much wear there was! I would also make sure you have the OME shocks all the way around...big difference.
