No, i'm not selling the "Mystery Machine." But... the owner of the shop where i've had some work done is selling four vehicles.

I'm posting this solely because the owner is a good guy, his shop does good work, and i can say i've looked at the '90 Weekender and the split window flatbed... and they are freakin' MINT. I'm not sure of the details only because i didn't write anything down... and i'm 2/3rds through my vodka & tonic.

1990 Weekender - $8,500

1987? Syncro Camper - Around $7,500

Beautifully restored, bright red, single cab, split window flatbed (lots of $$, but very very nice). The ONLY rust i saw was right next to lower right corner of the engine lid.

1962(?) Bug, only saw a picture... not sure of the $$.

Like i said, i'm not getting anything out of this deal... just looking to spread the word. The '90 Weekender is white... and is, as Bill describes, "the car driven by the wife of a VW mechanic." The engine is showroom clean... no shit.

I was fighting the urge to try and make some kind of a deal: Mystery Machine for the syncro camper... an even swap. Maybe not.

The shop name is Good Carma, 612-377-5302, ask for Bill. He doesn't believe in email or "that internet stuff" so if you're interested tell him how you found out about him and rock his world.

Regards,

-jspeer
