Subject: Optima deep cycle battery
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I need to start thinking of replacing the battery in my 1999 EVC and was thinking about the Optima deep cycle. These units appear to have little black vents on the top. The current battery in my EVC needs replenishment every so often from deep cycling it which one would expect. What makes the Optima different that they don't need levels checked? They still vent gasses don't they?

Thanks, -d
