I think I'm having problems with my Idle Solenoid Valve. According to the archives, running a cold engine for a few seconds and disconnecting the wiring harness to the ISV should reset the plunger opening the passage between the vacuum lines. Mine never moves. It does vibrate/hum and there is continuitity between the contacts. I have soaked the plunger end in carb cleaner for a couple of days and it doesn't help. Do I assume it is the ISV or do I need to look at the ECU or idle stabilizer control relay? If so, is there a quick fix until I can order the part? The bus runs great until it warms up, then it starts to buck and lose power. Is this related to the ISV or do I have another issue? Thanks, Darren. |
