Since my reputation has obviously preceded me re my propensity to roam the countryside towing Vanagons, I must admit great admiration for the aforesaid referenced Vanagon train. However, I herby deny that this particular consist was one of mine. At the moment, my vans are scattered in 3 states, although the names of Listees Chuck Hill and Darrell Boehler do have some bearing on their assorted locations. In any case, this episode has served the additional purpose of persuading me that it is once again time to contact LISTSERV to SET VANAGON MAIL. I am back again, again! BTW, I have recently obtained an 87 GL that was in dire need of parting out. The engine, tranny, windshield, sliding and rear doors, and various other smaller items are already gone. However, it does have a complete a/c system. Please contact me if interested. Please note that my e-mail has changed. It is now bpremack@mn.rr.com
