Now that my new engine is in, the old engine is for sale if anyone is interested in a good core, or the head gaskets could possibly be refreshed and you'd be good to go. The engine was leaking at the gaskets when removed. Yes, really. I was able to check compression before the engine was removed: 130~140psi @ all four cylinders; 113k miles on engine when pulled. It is basically a long block, as I transferred everything to the new engine. It comes with a water pump & pulley (Looks like it was replaced at some time, but the WP should always be replaced when the the opportunity presents itself). Crank pulley is there along with some peripheral equipment, and I installed a freshly resurfaced ($30) flywheel if you have a manual trans. I have an auto now so I don't need it. Looking for $400 + shipping unless you want to pick it up here in San Diego, CA area. Regards, Mike |
