Tracey: You're a brave soul. I'd suggest that you locate a list member near you that has a Westy that you can study. I'm going to offer you the little info I can provide here. You'll need the Westy fold down seat and rear sleeping pad. You'll need the six / seven gallon water tank and pump. You'll need the three function outside electrical / water receptacles. The mounting studs for the LP tank should already be provided on the drivers side about 20 inches back front the door. (I've heard) The Westy has a plywood floor in front of the fridge / sink. I'd suggest that you remove your rear seat and the interior panels where the sink / fridge / water holding tank goes and set it in position. When you get your hands on a Westy to copy from you'll be able to mark the holes you need to cut, roughly run your wiring, see where the 110 circuit connects. I've never had mine out or stripped one out so I'm not an expert but I know that the Westy has additional fuse panel (two fuse) behind the drivers seat, could be elsewhere on other models, extra fuse extension (2 fuse on your existing panel). You might want to search the Vanagon Archives http://gerry.vanagon.com/archives/vanagon.html This conversion has been done by many list members and you'll be able to get the E-mail addresses of them and get the proper information.
