Hi all. Ran across a really interesting yard sale this weekend, and for
$5 ended up with a nice AC gauge manifold and hoses, and 18 lbs. of
freon in a cylinder. The freon is, however, R-22, not R-12. I realize
this is the stuff used in home appliance type refrigeration units, but
my AC is in need of a recharge, and I wonder if using R-22 would be
preferable to converting to R-134a?
