This speaks *volumes* about your knowledge. I can say with confidence that the current tone of the list is about 90% the fault of William and yourself. Neither of you seems to have even the most rudimentary common sense or manners. In the past week, after encouraging people to pmail you and William about your reprehensible behavior on this list, I received numerous explanations of the vitriolic, obscenity-riddled replies that they received from the two of you.

Again, the two of you have no common sense, manners or shame, and you should leave this list until you learn them.

Read what you wrote above and tell me what color the sky is in your world. The reason that people don't take discussions of Vanagons, engine conversions and other ON-TOPIC CONTENT to p-mail is because these things belong on the list. In fact the whole reason this list exists is for intelligent discussion of such content in a self-regulating format. The reason that we all have a mailing list instead of a USENET newsgroup is so that we could avoid inane ramblings, insults, and trolls of the likes of you and William.

Karl, and many others have left the list, and we are all the poorer for it. I personally blame you and William. Herculean efforts have been made on the part of many here to turn you two into productive members of this community and you have resisted at every turn. You have shown that you have only your own personal agendas and interests in mind, rather than the good of the list and *all* of its members. Your constant prattle of "if you don't like what I say then delete it" shows that you both have absolutely no interest in listening to the guidance of the community, and no care about the incredible damage you are doing to this list.

I suggest that if you would like to find a place better suited to your childish behavior, try USENET, and leave the rest of us to our list.
