Subject: VW of Canada motors
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi All,

I am soliciting more info regarding the VW of Canada motors. I now have one of these little gems imbedded in my engine compartment and would like to hear all the gorey details (good and bad) about these motors.

My ultimate plan is to poke a 1.9TDI back there, but got caught with a lack of time or funds to do this, hense the rebuilt WB.

Also, I am curious... do these vehicles not have a fast idle in the morning for warmup? Mine just sort of starts and sometimes dies, but never jumps up on a fast circuit.

Thanks in advance for any info out there! Brian
