---------- reply ------------- Tom, I make a carrier for the rear door of the Vanagon which can be used with Yakima or Thule accessories. I just finished one for a list member who wants to carry kayaks and bikes. For his I made a couple of Kayak stackers - removable tubes which hold the kayaks on edge.

My carrier simulates having "bar type" roof racks mounted on the back door of your van. You can carry up to four bikes, or two bikes and kayaks.
