Adam, Why not just make one, a valve spring tool that is. Afix a vertical post/column to the bench or a platform, a lever arm attached to the post, and then rod/post to press down on the valve spring (at the bottom a piece of round pipe the diameter of the spring hat, with part of it cut out to access the keepers).

I've done that for golf, jetta and vanagon heads. If I had the dimensions I could make you one.
