Hey Folks,

Six weeks ago I was watching 'police chases' on the FX channel when I caught a glimpse of a Vanagon just before the commercial break. It was featured in the 'coming up next' clip.

All I could do was grab my digi cam to record the footage off the t.v. screen (sorry for the poor quality).

What I saw next was horrifying. It was hard not to cry. Looks like VW & Europe putting our lovely crew cabs through the ringer for highway safety.

I've taken the footage, and threw together a quick lil' memorial in honor of our lovely Vanagons (and one Porsche. seemed appropriate). This not for the faint of heart.

Movies can be viewed/downloaded at:

I've posted the movie for all to see on my web space. It's about 4 mb. I hope it's not too slow. It was made with iMovie on a Mac. Might need QuickTime to view it. I don't have a PC and haven't been able to test it for windows.

keep a box of Kleenex handy
