Steve: Check the archives; I think I've posted the procedure before. However, it is not difficult. The replacement cable comes with the conduit(?) and the fittings on either end and is precisely measured, so that there is no adjusting the length. Once I got the replacement cable I could see just how straight forward the replacement would be. Check with www.busdepot.com or your FLAVWD for the cable. Neither will likely stock it, but it can be gotten within a few days.

Check your Bentley, page 20.14 for a nice picture.
