Make sure the clutch is completely disengaging, maybeo go back and look at teh transmission, but before you do all that work try a brand new battery, see if that works. If it doesn't take the battery back and then try engaging the clutch and having your good friends give ya push and try to push start it. If it push starts and the new battery didn't work, then it is the starter; If you were unable to push it with teh clutch engaged, then the clutch may be unable to disengage the engine properly. That means you have a clutch/transmission problem, and probabyl not a starter or battery. Basically I think you eitehr have: 1. A bad battery 2. A bad starter 3. Something wrong with clutch set-up.
