I agree Brent, a TIICO oriented list is long overdue if one does not already exist. That does not mean that I think TIICO related posts should be formally banned from the Vanagon or Syncro lists. Engine conversions are a growing segment of the Vanagon population. I notice a lot of people who are at the point of wanting to extend their ownership of these special vehicles but who face doubts about their long term reliability prospects. Posts that help inform us about conversion ownership are desirable IMO. Discussion of minutia related only to a specific conversion might be better relegated to a specialty list.

Perhaps a TIICO list could be broadened to cover all gasoline inline 4 VW based engine conversions. I would join it for sure though I have never owned such a conversion.
