I am gonna have to vote for some rules on the subject line contents as was suggested earlier, rather than a new list. If its a TIICO related post, put TIICO in the subject line and let the users filter it any way that they choose.

Frankly, if you break off TIICO into its own list, how would newbies to the list know there was even such a possibility for conversion? I have been off and on this list for years, but everything I know about Vanagons and the possibilities has come from all you folks. Don't cut off a source of info that people may one day need.

Filters on email programs are there for a good reason, but I'll bet a lot of users never even set them up and take advantage. When a thread starts going off track, just filter the subject line into oblivion and move on. If we had adherence to rules such as subject titles, those who don't care about TIICO, or Tires, or whatever, have the tools right on their PC to avoid having to see them.

Don't split it up, its all Vanagon related and we all learn from it.

Regards from Utah,

John
