I always recommend that you take out the rear panel, and look at the mechanism. I usually just put some white lith on the slider shaft for the lock, and that fixes the problem. If that doesn't do it, you may have a roasted solenoid. You can easily remove it and open it up to check. Then rebuild/regrease/replace as necessary. tx, bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...."
