Nope, you missed MY point. I don't have a problem with anyone selling stuff on this list. I buy and sell cars and restore VW's for a living. My only problem with this last one was that he posted THREE (3) Tres, all saying the same/similar/identical things about one (1) singular Volkswagen (Bus) Vanagon. IMHO (I Think) I believe that it could have been done with one post. I am only guessing that he was trying to hit all the keywords for people that receive in Digest mode, but imagine if everyone that posted something for sale on this list placed 3 posts.

Still, at least nobody is flaming around about Mac's or Tires. Guess you gotta take the bad with the good.

As someone who someday wants to pick up a full Westy, I appreciate these posts from time to time. I'd much rather buy one from someone on the list than froma stranger or from Ebay (which scares me to death!).

So I find these posts useful and valuable.

Just my opinion.
