>(In truth, I do use a Coleman stove or fire for 75% of my cooking)

The fridge accounts for almost all of the propane usage. I have an electric fridge, so my propane is used only for cooking. I filled up the tank and went on a 2 month trip (3 people), then used the van for several camping trips over the next few years (probably 4-5 weeks in addition to the 2 month trip).

The tank was still over half full when the fill valve failed and vented the propane.
