Hi Volks; Well, since the clock R&R in my 83.5 Westy didn't go so well ( they are 15 to 20 yrs. old ), and you folks are right about a tach being the way to go with my Tiico, and since installing a tach into my existing low mileage, but with the clock foil, dash pod seems to be not worth the extra labor and wiring ( it didn't take too long a look at the pieces to figure that one out - thanks listees ), I have obtained a complete dash pod the go with the tach I obtained. Now to the question What do I do to mate up the 83.5 WBX/clock plug (main pod plug) with the later model WBX/tach plug?? I understand a new tach lead will have to be run (to which pin?), but proper wiring for the fuel and water temp gauges has to be maintained also. Dave B. 83.5 Tiico Westy 83.5 WBX Westy |
