>I have received packages from the Busdepot shipped via US Post to Canada, >and the service was perfectly satisfactory. I suppose there are a thousand explanations, but one thing I do know is that the Government protects the US postal service against competition like UPS and Fedex. I have never shipped across the border, but I would expect that a bloated government entity like the post office would have every legal and financial advantage over UPS and other competitors. Several shipping rates here in the US, like overnight delivery, are controlled by the feds so that any competition against the post office is forced to charge much more than the USPS. No suprise there I guess <shrug> Don't know what it all means, but I felt like pointing it out <g> John |
