I just finished swapping "new" seats from my '82 GL into my '82 westy (ones with arm rests!). When I finished, I thought I'd position the headrests (restraints!) into their correct positions when ziipp! out came the plastic sockets that hold the drivers headrest in the seat! I managed to extend the restraint a bit by holding the plastic sockets in the seatback while lifting on the restraint... BUT, I really want to fix the problem. I feel this is a serious safety issue. Question- does anyone know if the plastic sockets can be replaced? Or must I replace the whole seat? - does anyone know of any other solution?? Thanks in advance, Brad |
