heres my story my vw club president has a friend who ownes a westy vanagon and i recently puruchased a 1971 squareback that just came over from oregeon.

I found out that he has a eye for it and he is 99.9% sure he wants to do a trade with my i don't know the year condition millege etc.. When i look at the westy what do i look for so i don't get stuck with a money sucking van . Also we pulled the engine out of the squareback and did a top end rebuild repowered the tin new baby weber carbs bigger heads the

whole works. So the squareback
