Hi All,

If you ever need an engine for those air cooled VWs, and are anywhere near Dulles airport (VA, MD, DC, ...), I believe I have a good one. It's a 2L CV long block out of a 1980 Westy. Email me at <robandjeanne@access4less.net> $590. It ran great, never overheated, had good oil pressure and got good gas mileage (23 mpg on the flat). Unfortunately it dripped oil on the driveway from leaking push rod tubes. Finally at my wife's insistance I had another motor put in, which worked OK but didn't get the gas mileage of the original. In retrospect I should have just had the push rod tube leaks fixed, but this looked hard to do with the engine in the van.

Rob
