I have used Sierra for about 3 years, hoping to get around to flushing it soon...

No problems as of yet. It relies on propylene glycol instead of ethyene glycol, and is phosphate-free. The PG has a slightly higher viscosity, and feels more "lubricious" than EG.

I am hoping it gives longer life to the internals, only time will tell. No particular science behind my preference though.

Very low toxicity is the hallmark of PG antifreeze. Two ounces of EG antifreeze can kill a dog, one teaspoon can be lethal to a cat, and two tablespoons can be hazardous to children.
