The clutchdisc can be made out of a different material, that doesn't burn up as quick, and usuallythe pressure plate has heavier duty spings in it--

Go for the HD unit----you'll be happier in the long run--and it's only 80 bucks difference---no big deal---

Since the tranny of my 87 syncro is out I am going to replace the clutch throught bearing and so on. My question to the list is that I can get a clutch kit from bus depot for 119 they also have a heavy duty kit for 199. Has anyone put in the heavy duty one in, is it worth the extra cost? I would think the only difference is the thickness of the clutch plate. Any thoughts out their? Thanks Adrian
