David, are you sure about this? I believe Canada Post owns Purolator Courier, not the other way around. I worked for Canada Post years ago when they bought Purolator before it went bankrupt. Check out the canadapost.ca website if you like, it mentions the Government as little as possible (surprise) but it's there.
