The easiest way to check your injectors is to pull them a side at a time (two), and put a small pan under them. Ground your coil wire to the block while someone cranks the engine over. Observe the spray pattern. When the car stops cranking the injectors should not drip. If they do then they need to be replaced. I would not go with rebuilt. Go with new Bosch. You can just replace the ones that are dripping for now if you need to conserve cash. I have these for $89 each. Be sure to check your fuel pressure as well.

Hi, This is my first post. I was driving down the road at 70mph and my oil light came on. Immediately turned off the engine and coasted to a near by gas station. I checked the oil and it was overfull. I started the engine again and no oil light at first the a little bit of rattle so I turned it off again. My brother towed me home and I called my favorite bug mechanic, who suggested smelling the oil.. ....the oil was very gassy smelling. My injector/s were dumping gas when they should not be. My question are: Remanufacured bosch fuel injectors or new ones? Replace all four or just one? How to determine which one/s are doing the dumping?

any other comments please, Thanks in advance for comments, Ry Blaisdell Texas
