Adam: I put a VDO vac gauge in sometime ago and used 1/4" copper tubing. Was advised that was way too big a diameter for accurate readings. So I snaked some black plastic vacuum line from Napa inside the copper. Took the vacuum off the FPR connection via a plastic T fitting. When the engine is idling properly, I get about 15". Wish it read like that climbing the hills!!
