What software are you using? The TiiCo kit is NOT OBD2 compatible. The
TiiCo is OBD1... Very similar to the 93 through 95 US model Golfs/Jettas.
I have generic OBD2 scan software and it won't see the TiiCo at all, but
with VAG-COM (VAG 1551-2 emulator for Windows) I can get into the ECU.
VAG-COM has an option to test the ECU for OBD2 copatability... The TiiCo
fails this.
