Subject: On going clock/tach/dash pod story
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Volks;

Well, since the clock R&R in my 83.5 Westy didn't go so well ( they are 15 to 20 yrs. old ), and you folks are right about a tach being the way to go with my Tiico, and since installing a tach into my existing low mileage, but with the clock foil, dash pod seems to be not worth the extra labor and wiring ( it didn't take too long a look at the pieces to figure that one out - thanks listees ), I have obtained a complete dash pod the go with the tach I obtained. Now to the question What do I do to mate up the 83.5 WBX/clock plug (main pod plug) with the later model WBX/tach plug?? I understand a new tach lead will have to be run (to which pin?), but proper wiring for the fuel and water temp gauges has to be maintained also.
