you can replace JUST the tach. Very simple to do. Pull the instrument cluster. I forget the exact protocal, but it was fairly straightforward. I have a good working used tach i swapped out while doing a tiico conversion (i put in a 7K tach instead of the 6k wbx one :-) for sale. But why did the tach burn up? Check that out first! matthew
