I recently had my windows tinted on my 1990 Westy weekender and they never removed the closet.
The gentleman who did the job had a long handled squeegee and he just reached behind the closet and did what he had to do.  $ 150.00 well spent. Dark on the side windows, light on the driver, passenger and rear window.  Keeps it much cooler inside, and on a bright day just easier on the eyes.
