Andrew,

Where are you located? My parts guy here has the Weekender bench for sale. Keep in mind that there are two types of folding bench/bed that people refer to as "Weekender" benches.

The Vanagon GL Weekender & Carat Multivan bench/bed is about three inches narrower than your typical 3-person rear bench. They are made narrower to permit the use of the folding side table and it's related plastic panels. This bench bolt in almost the same spot as the regular 3-person bench. Except the upper and lower mounts get small box extensions to cover the gap allowed for the side panels. They operate much like the regular benches.

Now the Wolfsburg Edition & Base Camper models which are assembled by Westfalia are a different deal altogether. They are even narrower to accommodate the side cabinetry. They also mount differently. The bench/bed actually sits on a framework which is then bolted in the van. The side hinges are very different. They also open way. To use this bench properly, you would need the rear side cabinets.

Both bench/bed require the use of a cushion over the engine compartment. The sizes again are different as the Westfalia models have a rear closet which requires a narrower rear cushion.

I also have access to a complete poptop with good canvas. I gave it to a buddy of mine. Now he is selling it. He also has a pair of folding and removable jumpseats. Jumpseats generally only come in gray in the US. It's either tweed or velour. The velour comes in diagonal or check pattern.

Hope that helps in your quest. Pmail me if you need further details.

BenT
