Hi Volks,


I am looking for some info on repairing the 3rd-4th gear syncro hub on a 86 rwd. transmission.
I have a spare transmission that I want to repair.
It is grinding when coming out of 4th gear.
I believe that it is the all to common 3rd-4th gear syncro hub.
Has anyone done this repair them selves?
If so how difficult was the repair?
Where can I buy the parts for the repair?
At one time there was a list member that had pictures of the repair on his web site.
Does anyone know the URL for this site ?


Any advice and info on the repair is greatly appreciated.
