Jon et al,

The 300SL was (and always is) my top choice. My second choice, a car I actually owned once, a 1953 or 1954 Rover P4-90 http://www.roverp4.com/90.htm

I paid $75 for mine in 1968, it ran for two hilarious weeks, then threw a rod. I sold it... for $75. An awesome vehicle. Then I got my first VW van...

Geez, Stan, nothing like a simple decision! After some consideration, I think I'd have to go with a LeMans-spec '55 Mercedes 300SL gullwing. An incredible car even by modern standards, and I don't anyones ever done anything quite as beautiful... No, wait... a D Type Jag? Bugatti Atlantic? '66 Ford GT40? Oh brother... see the predicament you've put me in?

JJ
