In the L.A. area( and as of last month,) several Costco's still had some Kirklands left. (Item # 187448) As I reported when I bought them (5-29-02) the total out-the-door price including installation/road hazard/new valve stem/flat repair, lifetime balancing, and 40K warranty was $270.45 for four. They were MUCH cheaper than the other offering Costco has-Michelin LTX which go for about $120 each installed. As stated, perhaps the Kirklands (with a load rating C as opposed to the preferable D,) may not have been the best choice, but for my budget and especially as the PO had PASSENGER tires running the max 35 PSI, the choice was clear.Mark1987 Vanagon Westfalia2000 Passat 1.8T 5SPD ------------------------------------------------ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! |
